Job DescriptionBethel University has an immediate opening for a
Theatre Arts Company Manager and Box Office to manage and run the
box office and serve as company manager for the Theatre Department.
Departments include:Theatre, Everest-RohrerSupervisors are: Don
Hunter and Stacy BoneJob Summary (40 Hours a week, 12 month): To
manage and run the box office for Bethel University as well as
serve as company manager for the theatre department. Essential Job
Functions & Qualifications:
- For Box Office:
- Employee will make all deposits and prepare daily, weekly,
monthly sales reports of ticket sales and credit card sales, train
and oversee all student workers that work in the ticket office,
order ticket office supplies, update ticket computer for new events
and print reports for sales records, create email blasts to update
patrons on ticket sales and maintain and update database for
mailings, work weekends and evenings as needed for all theatre,
music or special events that need the box office. Help approve
calendar requests for the Everest-Rohrer.
- For Theatre Department:
- Phones, filing, memos, letters, copying, order/purchase
supplies. Attend weekly staff meeting and take minutes. Train and
supervise student workers in the theatre office. Handle and keep
spreadsheets for all purchase orders, deposits, expenses and
receipts for play and theatre office. Coordinate all arrangements
for KCACTF, The Stratford Experience, The Earl Awards, and the
Genesians. Assist in arranging the decorating for Christmas with
the music department.
- Fall, spring, and May plays: Handle publicity for on-campus
auditions. Assist in yearly calendar creation and room approval.
Put together scripts. Manage the set-up of all displays for theatre
