Job Description Job Description Our client is looking for a
dedicated Program Director to join their team in Chicago, Illinois.
This role is essential in delivering financial education and
programs, facilitating workshops, and providing direct support to
students and families. The position also involves coordinating with
community partners, managing events, and ensuring seamless program
operations. This position offers a salary of $75,000-$80,000
annually Responsibilities: • Facilitate engaging workshops focused
on financial literacy. • Provide personalized support to clients by
addressing financial inquiries, assisting with forms, and guiding
them toward appropriate resources. • Schedule and organize
workshops and events, ensuring all logistics and materials are
prepared for smooth execution. • Collaborate with community
partners to align on program details, expectations, and follow-up
needs. • Maintain accurate records of attendance and program data,
supporting reporting efforts and identifying opportunities for
process improvements. • Prepare and update program materials,
presentations, and handouts for both virtual and in-person events.
• Represent the organization at outreach events, partner meetings,
and community initiatives to foster strong relationships. • Support
tax site operations during tax season by coordinating workflows and
assisting clients with document verification. • Respond to client
inquiries in the off-season, routing questions and resolving issues
as needed. • Assist with program administration tasks, including
tracking participant information and preparing dashboards for

of experience in program coordination, education, customer service,
or nonprofit/community work. • Proven ability to deliver workshops
and presentations to audiences from diverse backgrounds. • Strong
organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and the
ability to manage multiple priorities. • Excellent verbal and
written communication skills, ensuring clarity in all interactions.
• Familiarity with scheduling tools and virtual platforms for
managing events and workshops. • Comfort working with data tracking
systems to maintain accurate and timely program records. •
Knowledge of financial education topics and resources, including
FAFSA and tuition assistance plans. • Certification or training in
tax preparation is a plus but not required.
