Job Description Job Description Job Title: Commercial Electrician Job Description We are seeking dedicated journeyman and apprentice-level electricians to join our team for medium to large-sized commercial construction projects. These projects will encompass both new construction and reconstruction. Electricians will have the opportunity to work on diverse commercial projects, where they will be responsible for running wire, bending conduit, and troubleshooting as needed. Responsibilities Run and manage wiring systems across various commercial projects. Bend conduit and perform troubleshooting as necessary. Demonstrate different aspects of electrical work to electrician helpers and delegate tasks as needed. Interact and coordinate with general contractors and other subcontractors on-site. Essential Skills Experience with commercial electrician work. Proficient in running wire, bending conduit, and reading/following blueprints. Ability to work independently on all aspects of electrical tasks. Strong teamwork skills and the ability to follow instructions. Additional Skills & Qualifications Prior experience with electrical construction in industrial facilities, commercial buildings, hotels, and high-end residential sites. Why Work Here? Work Environment All work will take place on commercial job sites including industrial facilities, commercial buildings, hotels, and high-end residential properties. You will be interacting with general contractors and other subcontractors on-site, ensuring a collaborative and efficient work environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Des Plaines, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $36.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
