Job Description Job Description Top Job Located in Grand Rapids, MN Salary: $20.00 - $30.00/hour Skilled Carpenter Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting Skilled Carpenters to join a growing, highly rated company in Grand Rapids, MN. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and building quality projects they can be proud of. As a Skilled Carpenter, your day will start by reviewing blueprints and plans, gathering materials, and preparing your work area. You'll spend most of your time measuring, cutting, building, installing, and finishing materials on active job sites. Daily work may include framing structures, installing doors and trim, hanging siding, completing detailed finish work, and making on-the-spot adjustments to ensure everything fits and functions correctly. You'll regularly use power and hand tools, work alongside other trades, inspect your work for quality, and keep safety a top priority. Schedule: Monday - Friday Wage: $20 - $30/hour, based on experience Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints and project plans Measure, cut, and select proper materials and tools Perform layout, installation, repair, finishing, and maintenance work Sand, stain, and hang doors Complete framing, siding, and tile work Cut and install molding and curved designs to specifications Inspect finished work to ensure quality standards are met Follow all safety rules and job-site regulations What we look for: High school diploma or equivalent Proven experience as a carpenter Valid driver's license Proficient in reading a tape measure, schematics, and work plans Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills Apply online or at our office: Take the first step toward your success.
