Job Description Job Description Job Title: General Laborer Job Description We are seeking a dedicated General Laborer to join our dynamic team. This role involves various tasks essential to the construction process, focusing on concrete products and mold preparation. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a hands-on environment and possess the necessary skills to contribute effectively to our projects. Responsibilities Remove concrete products from steel molds. Clean and prepare steel molds to be filled with concrete. Cut, handle, and install steel reinforcement as specified. Pour concrete into concrete forms. Trowel and finish concrete to specified finish. Perform general cleaning to maintain a safe and organized workspace. Essential Skills Experience with labor, power tools, and hand tools. Ability to use a tape measure accurately. Proficiency in tasks related to roofing, demolition, and construction. Knowledge of blueprint reading and concrete handling. Additional Skills & Qualifications Mechanical skills with power and hand tools. Preferred experience in construction. Work Environment This position operates in a construction environment, requiring comfort with dirty and dusty conditions. Standard work hours are Monday to Friday from 7 AM to 4 PM, with occasional Saturdays as needed. The role is fully on-site, ensuring hands-on involvement in all tasks. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kalamazoo, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
