Job Description Job Description We are looking for a skilled Spanish-Speaking Customer Service Representative to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. This is a long-term contract position within the non-profit sector, offering an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact while utilizing your expertise in customer support. Responsibilities: • Respond promptly and professionally to inbound member calls, providing clear and empathetic support. • Record detailed notes and input accurate information into the organization's database systems. • Educate members on policies, procedures, and next steps to ensure clarity and satisfaction. • Provide recommendations on best practices and required documentation based on individual member inquiries. • Utilize software tools such as SharePoint, web-based databases, and Microsoft Office Suite to manage tasks efficiently. • Collaborate with team members to address complex member concerns and provide resolutions. • Uphold strict attendance and professionalism standards to maintain excellent service delivery. • Communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking members when required, ensuring their needs are met. • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures during all interactions. • Handle additional assigned duties to support the overall operations of the customer service team. • Bilingual Spanish skills required - experience in a Spanish Bilingual call center highly preferred! • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a call center or corporate customer service environment. • Proficiency in using SharePoint, web-based databases, and Microsoft Office Suite. • Ability to manage inbound and outbound calls with professionalism and empathy. • Strong data entry skills with exceptional attention to detail. • Familiarity with union contracts and related processes is a plus. • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to connect with diverse audiences. • All candidates are required to undergo a comprehensive screening process.
