Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A full-time special education teaching opportunity is
available for the 2025-2026 school year, specializing in 6th-8th
grade math. This contract position is onsite at a middle school
serving K-12 students in Evanston, IL. The role focuses on
delivering math instruction within the special education discipline
for middle school learners. Key Responsibilities: Provide
specialized math instruction to students in grades 6 through 8 with
special education needs Manage a caseload within a single middle
school setting Collaborate with grade-level teams to support
individualized education plans (IEPs) Implement instructional
strategies and accommodations tailored to student needs
Qualifications: Valid professional teaching license for special
education in Illinois Experience with middle school math curriculum
and special education methodologies Ability to effectively manage
classroom and caseload responsibilities within a structured school
environment Strong communication and collaboration skills to work
with students, families, and school staff Location: Evanston,
