Job Description:

Kalamazoo Christian High School (KCHS) is looking to hire a committed Christian teacher ready to energetically & effectively provide our high-school students with excellent Spanish language instruction taught from a Christian worldview. This is a full-time position for the 2026-27 school year. The position will include teaching three sections of Spanish 1, one period of Spanish 3 or 4, and potentially one period in another content area. The preferred candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong & active Christian faith with a solid knowledge of the Bible. He/She will understand & be committed to the mission & vision of Christian education, specifically that of Kalamazoo Christian High School. Having a deep knowledge of the content area & the ability to connect the Christian faith & worldview to the study of the Spanish language is essential for success in this position. Fundamental job skills & competencies include collaboration, communication (oral and written), critical thinking, dependability, interpersonal skills, organization, providing motivation & confidence, relationship/team building, stewardship, technology competency, & time management. Educational Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree (minimum); Graduate degree preferred. Teaching Certification (Secondary; Spanish language instruction) preferred.
