Job Description Job Description CNC Machinist Openings in Grand Rapids Direct Hire 1st or 3rd Shifts Available $21-28/hour Job Description This is a 1st shift CNC Machinist position working Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, totaling 50-hour work weeks with voluntary weekends. There are also multiple spots available on 3rd Shift, currently running from 8PM-6AM (50 hour work weeks) Operate up to 3 CNC machines simultaneously, including Mills, Lathes, and Grinders. Perform up to 8 or 9 tool changes daily across all machines. Load CNC machines, execute programs, and make minor edits as necessary. Conduct quality checks using Micrometers and Calipers every 300-400 parts. Attend daily meetings to understand shift requirements and assigned workstations. Store completed parts in bins for daily shipment to customers. Essential Skills 5 years of experience operating CNC Machines, including Screw Machines or Mills. 5 years of experience in reading blueprints. 5 years of experience in making edits to existing CNC programs. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in CNC Programming is a plus. Why Work Here?
