Position Summary: We are currently seeking a Project Manager - Engineering to join our team. This position is based in our Mishawaka Manufacturing Plant. Reporting to the Manager of Maintenance and Engineering, the Project Manager - Engineering will assist with the scheduling, planning, forecasting, resourcing, and managing of technical activities to ensure project accuracy and quality. They will be responsible for the engineering, construction and technical disciplines of ongoing projects and will establish inspection criteria for the proper implementation of all elements of a project. To be a successful, the individual will have the ability to work with multiple discipline projects and demonstrate excellent project management and supervisory skills. They will also have excellent organizational, time management, leadership, and decision-making skills. Position Description (Responsibilities): Determines and formulates project parameters/requirements and translates them into an actionable plan by a team of workers Responsible for scheduling project tasks according to a set timeline Ensures that all tasks are completed on-time and on-budget Supports the development of specifications and design for each project Establishes commission, quality control task, managing/developing budgets/estimates, as well as plans for the life span of the project Makes sure that all health, safety and legal requirements are being met throughout the process Determines the need for construction management based on project Responsible for responding to any client complaints, concerns or requests throughout the project Holds regular meetings with project stakeholders to ensure that everything is going according to time and budget restrictions Live the WellPet values and culture and doing whatever it takes for the pets who depend on us Other duties as assigned Position Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field, with 2-5 years in an engineering role in a manufacturing facility or equivalent experience 2 years Project Management experience Strategic Thinker Able to focus on the big picture and consider the long-term implications Innovator A passion for looking for ways to improve individual and/or company performance Excellent computer literacy and knowledge of design, project management and visualization software Intermediate to advanced level in Microsoft Office Applications Ability to work with multiple discipline projects Excellent project management and supervisory skills including organizational, time management and decision-making skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of applicable codes, policies, standards and best practices Commitment to exceeding expectations WellPet LLC is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
