As a People and Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing our workforce, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and good manufacturing practices, and fostering a culture of employee engagement and leadership. You will work closely with the HR department, hiring managers, and other key stakeholders to ensure that our workforce is aligned with our business objectives and that our employees are motivated, engaged, and empowered to deliver high-quality products and services.Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Manage the hiring process, including sourcing, interviewing, and selecting candidates for open positions.
• Develop and implement training programs to ensure that employees are trained on safety, good manufacturing practices, and quality and food safety standards.
• Foster a culture of employee engagement and leadership by creating opportunities for employee feedback, recognition, and development.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and good manufacturing practices, including OSHA and GMP requirements.
• Manage the performance review process and provide coaching and feedback to employees to help them achieve their goals.
• Develop and implement employee retention strategies to ensure that our workforce is motivated and engaged.
• Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that our workforce is aligned with our business objectives and that we are delivering high-quality products and services.
• Ensure compliance with GFSI standards and other quality and food safety requirements.Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in HR, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and good manufacturing practices, including OSHA and GMP requirements.
  • Experience with people engagement and leadership.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
