If you are looking for your next career opportunity to partner with a compassionate multidisciplinary collaborative team, we have the job for you.Job Summary:The Director of Special Events & Corporate Development is responsible for planning and executing fundraising strategies and hospital-related events that will maximize revenue, growth and awareness of La Rabida.Essential Functions for Director of Special Events & Corporate Development:

• Develop and manage all internal and external hospital events. This includes coordinating all logistics, managing timelines, overseeing committees, auction procurement, budgeting and financial reporting.
• Develop corporate support plans. Generate targeted, effective corporate support prospects and proposals. Manage relationships with corporate supporters.
• Work with internal and external partners to identify opportunities for collaboration.
• Develop and oversee corporate engagement programs, initiatives and resources that advance La Rabida's mission and goals.
• Work with communications and design team to develop event collateral and communications strategy.
• Lead the Corporate Advisory Board to foster engagement and growth.
• Ensure event production meets the highest possible quality standards and results in optimum experience for attendees and donors.
• Assess and create strategies for ongoing growth and viability.What we need from you:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree, Master's preferred
  • Related Work Experience: 7-10 years of special event and corporate development experience at a fundraising organization.
  • Specialized Knowledge & Skills: Knowledge of Raisers Edge is helpful.What you will receive:
