qualified Med/Surg RN in Lafayette, Indiana, 47905! Pay Information
$2,666 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse
Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration:
13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 18
months required License: Indiana or Compact License required
Certifications: ACLS, BCLS required Must-Have: Telemetry and IV
Start experience required Description: Nursing professionals are
invited to apply for a telemedicine and medical-surgical position.
The unit operates on a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio. The majority of
patients are medical cases, including COPD exacerbation, pneumonia,
COVID-19, chest pain, and small bowel obstruction. There is a small
surgical case load, with roughly 1-3 post-surgical patients per
day. Surgical cases may include gastric sleeve, gastric bypass,
colectomy, mastectomy, appendectomy, and cholecystectomy. Every
other weekend availability is required. Candidates must possess
required certifications prior to submission. Floating to various
departments or nearby facilities is mandatory for all travelers.
