Job Description Protouch Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN
Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Job
Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN -
Start Date: 07/21/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week -
Shift: 12 hours, days, nights - Employment Type: Travel General job
duties. Types of procedures required. General Medical Surgical
nursing care. Skills and tasks required would be assessments, care
planning, inter-professional communication, utilization of the EHR,
IV pumps, wound vacs, heat/cooling pads, feeding pumps, feeding
tubes, chest tubes, management of heparin and insulin drips, IV
therapy management. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. Epic
electronic record, pyxis machines, Accucheck blood glucose, hospira
IV pumps, SCDs for VTE prevention, heating/cooling pads, telemetry
monitoring Required skills and minimum years of experience.
Candidate must have at least 1.5 years of Level 1, Level 2 or
tertiary experience. Candidate must have at least 1 year of
experience at a like sized facility (600) beds. Specific licensures
and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS,
etc) BLS, IN State or compact RN license Shift or schedule
requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required?
If so, how often? Are weekends required?) 12-hour shifts, 3 weekend
shifts in 4 weeks Medsurg RN's will float to areas in greatest
need. Patient ratios are 1:5-6. General job duties. Types of
