Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. A dynamic
opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist with
experience in school settings. This role involves providing
comprehensive OT services across K-12 grade levels, supporting
students in two distinct school buildings. The position is
travel-based within Palatine, IL, offering a blend of elementary
and middle school environments to enrich professional experience.
Key Qualifications and Experience: - Valid Occupational Therapy
license with school-based practice experience - Expertise in
delivering OT services tailored to K-12 students - Ability to
collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to create
effective intervention plans - Strong organizational skills to
manage caseloads across multiple buildings - Flexibility to work
with diverse student populations and age groups Location and
Schedule: - Travel between two schools located in Palatine, IL -
Full-time or part-time options available per building: Elementary
school: 3.5 days per week Middle school: 1.5 days per week - Start
date ASAP, continuing through the end of the school year (EOSY) on
June 2nd Responsibilities: - Conduct assessments and develop
individualized OT plans to improve students functional performance
- Implement therapeutic interventions to support academic
participation and daily living skills - Document progress and
communicate effectively with the educational team and families -
Participate in meetings, contribute to IEP planning, and provide
professional recommendations - Adapt strategies to meet the unique
