Job Description & Requirements Chicago, IL - General Orthopedic
Surgery StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $ - $ Orthopedic Surgeon,
Physician Roles and Responsibilities - Diagnose and treat disorders
related to the musculoskeletal system. - Perform orthopedic
surgeries, including joint replacements, fracture repair, and
arthroscopic procedures. - Develop and implement patient treatment
plans in collaboration with medical staff. - Provide pre-operative
and post-operative care to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Stay
updated on the latest advancements in orthopedic medicine. -
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records. - Collaborate
with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care. - Knowledge
of legal and ethical standards for the delivery of medical care -
Knowledge of relevant drugs and non-pharmaceutical patient care
aids and ability to prescribe dosages and instruct patients in
correct usage - Knowledge of related accreditation and
certification requirements - Ability to work both independently and
in a team environment - Effective verbal and written communication
skills Required Skills & Qualifications - Medical License in
Illinois - Board certified or Board Eligible in Specified Area of
Medical Specialty - 3-5 years of experience is preferred -
Completed a US Residency Program - Strong surgical and diagnostic
skills Orthopedic Surgeon, Opportunity Highlights: - The position
consists of Monday-Friday outpatient clinic at Calumet City and
Flossmoor and perform orthopedic surgeries at UChicago Medicine
Ingalls Memorial Hospital. - Clinics are staffed with Medical
Assistants, Nurses and Physician Assistants. - Competitive
