Saint Joseph Physician Network (SJPN) has an excellent full time employment opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Urology physician to join a practice located in Mishawaka, Indiana. - The practice is seeking a general Urologist to join one other full time Urologist. Recruitment is underway to build a three physician practice. The opportunity is a bread and butter urology practice which will include clinic, hospital consults, and Emergency Department coverage. The practice performs approximately 90-120 urological procedures each month - elective and emergent. DaVinci robots are available. The procedures performed are open renal stone surgery; open ureteral surgery; open bladder surgery; female incontinence surgery; treatment for priapism; open prostatectomy; radical prostatectomy; TRUS biopsy; pelvic node dissection. Call frequency will be 1:2 initially; eventually 1:3. Locum tenens weekend coverage may be an option to lessen frequency until a third physician can be hired. Saint Joseph regional Medical Center has a strong affiliation with local Hematology/Oncology group and the clinic office is located in the Medical Office Building which is attached to the hospital for patient care convenience. This is an exciting opportunity for the right Urology physician to be part of a growing practice. - RECRUITMENT PACKAGE Saint Joseph Physician Network is offering an excellent compensation package for the right Urology physician including: Competitive salary range in line with MGMA standards. Health/dental/vision/disability/life/retirement benefits. Malpractice paid by corporation, including tail. 227days off per year; 7 holidays, 5 days and $3,000 for CME. $3,000 per year for professional journals, dues, and memberships. Relocation assistance provided in accordance with policy.
