SQL Database Administrator
Client Location: Chicago, IL
Type: Full time, Perm

Note: Local candidates at this time. Team is onsite 2-3 days a week
Responsibilities: This individual will be a part of the team responsible for the operational support of project initiatives surrounding our client's Database environments. This position will play an integral role in the maintenance, support and enhancements of business critical applications.
Experience Required:

• 
  
• Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years experience installing and working with SQL Server 2016/2019
  
• Strong knowledge of Windows 2019
  
• Strong knowledge of physical and VMWare SQL configuration from an infrastructure perspective
  
• Strong understanding of security implementation
  
• Experience with SQL Server performance management and tuning, including understanding of SQL execution plans.
  
• SQL Server Administration experience including:
  
• Stored Procedure Code Development and Standardization, Data Integration and Migration (SSIS), Management Studio, Database Auditing and Controls
  
• Azure database administration experience.
  
• Proven troubleshooting abilities
  
• Strong planning and analysis skills
  
• Strong documentation skills
  
  Preferred:
  
  • 
    
  • Ability to translate Logical Data Models into physical structures
