Job Description:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Understand and demonstrate the principles of the Company"---s Mission, Vision and Values.Act as a project manager in enterprise-wide software rollout/migration projects. -Plan the analysis, evaluation, testing, implementation, integration, and migration strategy for deployment. -Define and implement complicated technical solutions that satisfy business requirements and are in line with corporate, project, and budgetary objectives.Assist with resolving complex problems and coordinating work with technical analysts and business partners. -Collaborate with team members to develop a stronger project team and enhance project productivity and results.Assess and resolve technical problems that may involve complex integration of technologies across multiple software and hardware platforms.Educate, promote and influence advanced technology solutions and best practices with other departments, Company leaders and IT staff. -Partner with departments to develop departmental policies and procedures that increase the effectiveness of end-user technology. -Utilize working knowledge of information security best practices and common data security controls in frameworks such as PCI DSS, HIPAA, and NIST 800-53 to ensure environemnt is meeting our external audit and client requirements.Develop tactical solutions and define general architectures or approaches necessary to advance the messaging, software delivery, or software application needs for the Company.Conduct planning activities for Companywide voice and data operations and implementations.Analyze pricing and availability of voice & data components, security, virtualization, backups, and monitoring infrastructures, make recommendations for purchase. Advise CIO - IT on problems, plans, and activities and recommend policies and procedures that enhances the department operations. Maintain and increase efficiency of operations through the reduction of outages, the implementation of more effective controls, and the timely resolution of outstanding technology issues.Proactively identify opportunities to maximize return on investment in technology, through benefit enhancement initiatives and cost control initiatives. -Assist in the evaluation, cost justification, and implementation of these initiatives. -Work with business partners to develop departmental policies and procedures that increase the effectiveness of end-user technology.Prepare diagrams, flow charts, graphic presentations, and narrative reports to recommend improvements or resolve problems.Update and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for voice/data infrastructure. Complete special projects and assignments as necessary.Manage and organize day-to-day activities of the Service Desk, delegate appropriate work to staff, plan and coordinate utilization of resources and make recommendations for additions and/or changes to current resources.Assist in the ongoing implementation of Information Technology Infrastructure Library framework for IT Service Management and Service Delivery. -Train staff in ITIL best practices relating relevant processes to current company policies and procedures.Management Responsibilities: Builds effective relationships with employees by providing clear direction and prioritization of tasks Provide guidance and support on assigned tasks and projects to ensure employee and company success Conducts one on one meetings with employees to keep current on individual efforts and build development plans for employee improvement and career planning. Conducts team meetings to ensure that priorities are in order and to provide direction for team members. Keeps staff accountable for deliverables. Manages schedules and workloads for team members to ensure department coverage and proper task allocation based on department priorities. Ensure team follows company policies, procedures, and change control process guidelines to meet GLBA, HIPAA, FDCPA, FCRA, PUB 1075 regulatory requirements and PCI DSS industry standards.III. KEY REQUIREMENTSEducation: Bachelor"---s degree in Computer Science or relate field preferred.Experience: Minimum five years experience in a corporate environment while supporting multiple, diverse sites. -Minimum five years experience in design and implementation of a mid to large enterprise data center. Experience in managing client expectations. Minimum three years in a leadership role.Language/Communication/Interpersonal: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively communicate with all levels of end users including senior management; ability to simplify and communicate technical information in a clear and concise manner. Strong interpersonal skills at all levels of management; excellent teamwork skills. Ability to establish and maintain a high level of user trust and confidence. Analytical: Ability to prioritize in a rapidly changing environment. Ability to monitor daily operational server environment using hardware and software tools. Strong critical decision-making skills. -Assess and quickly resolve technical problems impacting production systems. -Problems at this level may involve complex integration of technologies across multiple software and hardware platforms.Technical: Excellent knowledge of telephony and client-server environments along with supporting technologies. In-depth understanding of VMware, Windows 2008/2012 Server and above, Cisco routers and switches, SAN Architecture, Server Technology and networking topologies. Demonstrated, thorough knowledge of key protocols such as TCP, IP, UDP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, SNMP, etc. Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, SharePoint, and SQL products. -Leadership: Excellent leadership skills. -Strong motivator/mentor; ability to supervise the completion of complex telephony and client-server administration tasks. -Ability to lead employees to apply skills and techniques to solve dynamic problems.Other: Demonstrated track record of satisfying PCI DSS, GLBA, and SOC controls and audit requirements Certificates, Licenses - - - - - - - - -Microsoft, EMC, and Cisco certifications preferred - - - - - - - - -Microsoft Certified IT Professional - - - - - - - - -VMware Certified professional
