highly skilled and experienced Senior Associate or Partner to join
our Tax Practice group. This position offers a unique opportunity
to expand our tax practice. Job Title: Senior Associate / Partner -
Tax Location: Chicago, IL Position Type: Full-Time, Hybrid
Responsibilities: Provide expert legal advice on a broad range of
tax matters, including corporate tax, partnership tax,
international tax, and individual tax planning. Represent clients
in tax disputes and litigation before federal, state, and local tax
authorities. Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax
liabilities and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives
and provide tailored tax solutions. Lead and mentor junior
attorneys and staff, fostering a collaborative and
learning-oriented environment. Build and maintain strong client
relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on tax-related matters.
Participate in business development activities, including
networking, client presentations, and thought leadership
initiatives. Contribute to the growth and expansion of the tax
practice, identifying new business opportunities and innovative
service offerings. Requirements: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an
accredited law school. Admission to the state bar and in good
standing. A minimum of 6 years of experience in tax law, with a
strong background in providing tax advice and representing clients
in tax disputes. A demonstrated track record of managing complex
tax matters and delivering high-quality legal services. Strong
analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think
strategically and provide practical solutions. Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to
effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and other
stakeholders. A book of business is preferred, with a proven
ability to generate new clients and expand existing relationships.
Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in mentoring and
developing junior attorneys and staff. Commitment to professional
development and staying current with changes in tax laws and
