Transport Driver role involves the secure and efficient
transportation of petroleum products using tank trucks or tractor
trailers, while adhering to DOT regulations and organizational
standards. This full-time position necessitates a valid Class A CDL
with endorsements for hazardous materials and tank vehicles.
Responsibilities include conducting pre-trip and post-trip
inspections, following safety protocols, and maintaining precise
documentation. Drivers will work local shifts, manage physical
demands of the job, and undergo drug/alcohol testing and background

home daily. We have an opening for a skilled light products
transport driver in Niles, MI. Our drivers are tasked with the safe
and efficient delivery of petroleum products to regional terminals,
refineries, and various other destinations. Transport drivers
operate independently, adhering to established policies,
procedures, and standards under the general oversight of local
fleet management. Benefits Hourly Pay Range : $31.30-$33.08

Reimbursement Qualifications Active Class A Commercial Driver's
License Must maintain a satisfactory driving record and consent to
company review of driving records. Must register with the FMCSA
Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse and allow company access to
clearinghouse records. Must be capable of driving interstate.
License Restrictions Ability to operate both manual and automatic
transmissions. Required CDL Endorsements: Hazardous Materials and
Tank Vehicle Shift Requirements Must be available for shifts
lasting up to 12 hours, both AM and PM. Must be willing to work
beyond scheduled hours as needed. Job Responsibilities Conduct
pre-trip inspections on equipment in accordance with organizational
policy and DOT regulations. Ensure that the tank truck/trailer or
tractor/trailer meets all operational requirements and that all
necessary equipment is in good working order. Document any
deficiencies on the pre-trip inspection form. Safely operate a tank
truck/trailer or tractor/trailer to transport products efficiently
and professionally. Comply with all relevant federal, state, and
local laws. Adhere to organizational and site-specific standard
operating procedures during loading and unloading. Perform
post-trip inspections on equipment in line with organizational
policy and DOT regulations. Complete all required paperwork and
ensure equipment is prepared for the next shift. Report all
incidents, including safety and environmental issues, following
company protocols. Promptly report any equipment malfunctions.
Comply with all safety regulations and operational procedures,
including DOT guidelines. Physical Requirements Ability to work
outdoors in various weather conditions. Capability to work at
elevated heights of 30 feet. Must frequently lift, carry, push, or
pull weights between 50-65 lbs. Ability to sit for extended
periods. Must be able to grip a steering wheel for long durations.
Screening Requirements Must maintain a satisfactory driving record
and consent to company review of driving records. Must successfully
pass required drug and alcohol screenings. Must complete a DOT
physical and maintain a current medical card. Must pass a
three-year DOT safety background check and a seven-year criminal
background check. Must successfully complete a pre-trip exam and
road test to demonstrate proficiency in operating required
