Job Description Job Description Top Job Located in Elk Grove village, IL Salary: $20/HR We are seeking a motivated Maintenance Technician to join a fast-paced production team. You will perform preventive maintenance, respond to service requests, and help maintain a safe, clean, and productive work environment. Key Responsibilities Maintain and support the operation of manufacturing, shipping, and packaging machines. Perform routine Preventative Maintenance (PM) as directed by the maintenance department and management. Create additional work orders based on inspections and escalate part or service needs within the department. Monitor daily service requests for machine repairs, PMs, and operator needs; report findings to the Production Manager/Supervisor. Assist in machine setups and ensure all machine safety features and guarding are in place and functional. Qualifications Previous maintenance experience in a fast-paced production, machinery, or converting environment preferred. Strong computer knowledge and experience. Ability to understand and use standard hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic tools to determine repair plans. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Must be able to travel between Tinley Park and Elk Grove Village locations. Why Join Us?
