Rehab Hospital of Northern Indiana is seeking a Full Time Receptionist to join our team!

**Must have some weekend availability (9am-5pm) and evening availability on weekdays**

Must be proficient with computers and have familiarity with medical insurance processes**

Rehabilitation Hospital of Northern Indiana is a free-standing new construction inpatient rehab hospital located at 4807 Edison Lakes Parkway in Mishawaka, Indiana. This beautiful facility is a 55,210 square foot two-story building that has 40 private rooms, a large therapy gym with high tech equipment and an outside ambulatory courtyard, on-site dialysis, pharmacy and radiology.At our facility, we treat a wide variety of patients such as those recovering from a Stroke, Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury, Multiple Trauma, Amputation, Neurological conditions, orthopedics and medically complex patients.

Position Overview :

Responsible for providing hospital telecommunication services through the use of telephones, pagers, the paging system, radio, or computer to connect communication between visitors, callers, staff, patients, and patients' families. May maintain records related to telecommunications (e.g., long distance phone calls, on-call employees, pages).Integrates the hospital's mission and "Guiding Principles" into daily practice.

Qualifications/Skills :
One year of reception experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
OR any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Qualifications/Skills :
Demonstrates general computer skills including: data entry, word processing, email, and record management.
Effective organizational and time management skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to maintain quality and safety standards.
Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality.
Ability to work closely and professionally with others.
