Job Description:
Position Overview: The Pella Brand and Marketing Manager is the
face and voice of Pella in our showroom and within the Northern
Indiana community. The Brand and Marketing Manager will be
responsible for increasing brand awareness, local marketing,
generating traffic to the showrooms and sales opportunities,
provide customers with an exceptional customer experience.
Customer/Client Interactions- - - - - - - -Consult with showroom
guests and call-ins to answer questions and educate customers about
Pella products and capabilities - - - - - - - -Display and or
demonstrate products in the showrooms and/or events, using samples,
digital tools and or collateral, emphasizing features and benefits
of Pella products- - - - - - - -Qualify customers when scheduling
appointment for outside sales representatives and set proper
expectations regarding the retail replacement process- - - - - - -
-Complete credit card sales transactions by processing payment via
CyberSource. - - - - - - - -Support Pella's key imperative for
customer satisfaction - - - - - - - -Ability to communicate with a
variety of customers, homeowners, contractors, architects, and
designers. - - - - - - - -Ability to de-escalate difficult
customers and troubleshoot issues to improve the customer
experience. Product & Technology - - - - - - - -Answer and research
technical questions related to Salesforce - - - - - - - -General
knowledge on construction and building processes - - - - - - -
-Ability to read and interpret blueprints - - - - - - - -General
service knowledge Sales & Marketing - - - - - - - -Develop a local
marketing plan for both Northern Indiana territories within budget
guidelines- - - - - - - -Drive traffic and increase public
awareness to the showrooms through event creation and marketing
efforts in tandem with the sales teams - - - - - - - -Nurture
relationships with a variety of local marketing and advertising
agents- - - - - - - -Work with members of the GALE Marketing team,
Distribution and Fulfillment teams to meet overall goals and
coordinate strategies of the branch. - - - - - - - -Evaluate
promotional, sponsorship or event opportunities that can positively
impact the business and brand. - - - - - - - -Actively pursue and
investigate innovative marketing opportunities to promote business
growth - - - - - - - -Negotiate, manage, and facilitate contracts.
- - - - - - - -Facilitate the set up for innovative marketing
vendors - - - - - - - -Responsible for approval and follow up to
make sure all marketing invoices are moving through the process. -
- - - - - - -Meet and negotiate with marketing sales reps on a
variety of marketing options and opportunities - - - - - - -
-Identify, set up and maintain relationships with vendors supplying
promotional items, printing companies, local community
organizations with sponsorship opportunities. - - - - - - -
-Design, write, create print, radio, and OTT marketing ads, as
needed, to reflect local market- - - - - - - -Provide marketing
partners with creatives needed to facilitate our advertisements - -
- - - - - -Review, edit and approve ads prior to publication or
airing. - - - - - - - -Provide support, as needed, to sales reps by
assisting with customer/client visits to the showrooms or phone
call. Event Management - - - - - - - -Work with the Trade Manager
on an annual events schedule that will strengthen current business
relationships and encourage new business opportunities. - - - - - -
- -Organize, lead, and manage events, including but not limited to,
identifying locations, budget, expected outcomes, invitations,
identify and purchase items needed for the events, staffing of
events, follow up on invoices and payments. - - - - - - - -Develop,
manage, and attend local and showroom events- - - - - - - -Lead
presentations or training sessions with staff -- - - - - - -
-Ability to work weekend and evening hours Showroom Management - -
- - - - - -Manage both showroom locations- - - - - - - -Supervisor
for showroom staff - - - - - - - -Oversee the showroom cleanliness
and neatness to ensure favorable and hospitable setting for all
customers including but not limited to dusting, cleaning windows,
taking out garbage - - - - - - - -Resolve any showroom concerns
regarding electrical, heating/cooling, or plumbing issues or
repairs, by contacting appropriate contractors to address the
issues. - - - - - - - -Ensure showroom staff has necessary supplies
to keep showroom stocked with office, sales/marketing, and beverage
service supplies - - - - - - - -Follow all company safety policies
and procedures and reporting of safety concerns - - - - - - -
-Communicate with sales representatives regarding any client or
customer visits to the showroom. Administrative Responsibilities -
- - - - - - -Input and maintain accurate information in lead
management software - - - - - - - -Schedule, cancel and update
customer information within Salesforce - - - - - - - -Cover for
showroom staff as needed, including vacations, illness,
appointments, etc. - - - - - - - -Provide input and insights in
areas that could enhance brand performance and recognition - - - -
- - - -Troubleshoot and identify solutions to streamline processes
or improve the customer experiences. - - - - - - - -Maintain open
lines of communication with sales representatives, service team,
and managers to be sure any customer/client concerns are addressed
in a timely manner.- - - - - - - -Answer phones as needed

relationship with outside agencies, vendors, and partners
responsible for day-to-day execution of developing, distribution,
and marketing efforts to support planned sales. Qualifications To

Must have a bachelor's degree or associate degree; or two years
related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of
education and experience. Prior knowledge of general construction
applications and terminology and/or window and door applications or
components if desirable but not required. Familiarity with design
and reading/interpreting blueprints, is preferred. Language and
Communication Skills Ability to read and analyze documents related
to contracts and work documents. Ability to draft reports, and
business correspondence. Ability to verbal present information and
respond to questions from customers, managers, and the public.
Professional SkillsMust present a clean and neat physical
appearance and strictly abide by the company dress code serving as
the role model for other employees, customers, and visitors.
Reasoning Abilities/Mathematical Skills Ability to solve practical
and arithmetic problems and deal with a variety of concrete
variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to perform calculations using units of money, time,
measurements etc. Computer Skills Proficiency with Microsoft Word,
Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Salesforce software applications.
Employee is expected to develop proficiency with Pella's
proprietary software programs as well. Physical Demands While
performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly
required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, stoop, kneel, crouch as
needed. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to
twenty-five pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job
include close vision, distance vision color vision, and ability to
adjust focus
