Learn how our roll-formed steel products can help support your business needs.Supply Chain DirectorSummaryA supply chain director manages the flow of goods, from planning, purchasing, storage, and replenishment - from suppliers to customers. They work to ensure that the supply chain is efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with business goals.Job Core Responsibilities

• Inventory management: Track inventory, forecast demand, and analyze inventory to predict demand.
• Procurement: Create networks for purchasing and managing commodities and maintain relationships with vendors and distributors. Manage the people who conduct purchasing activities and work with sales and operations to ensure customer requirements are met while controlling costs.
• Transportation: Direct shipping and receiving, and ensure the efficient flow of goods.
• Logistics: Manage logistics planning and optimize processes for the efficient flow of raw materials and finished goods.
• Risk management: Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain, such as disruptions, delays, and quality issues.Skills and Qualifications
• Excellent project management skills.
• Knowledge of all aspects of the supply chain.
• Communication, negotiation, and management skills.
• Understanding of inventory control, warehousing, transportation, and logistics.
• Understanding of manufacturing, purchasing, and procurement.
• Up to date with new technologies.Reports
