Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1 years
School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet
these qualifications will not be considered. This contract
opportunity is for a School Social Worker to support a high school
caseload during a leave period. The assignment is located in Des
Plaines, IL, with an onsite requirement and a schedule of 35 hours
per week. The contract runs from April 1 through May 26, 2026. Key
Responsibilities: Provide social work services to high school
students, addressing academic, social, and emotional needs.
Collaborate with school staff, families, and community resources to
support student success. Manage caseload effectively while
maintaining confidentiality and adherence to school policies.
Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and monitor
progress of students. Qualifications: Possession of a Professional
Educator License (PEL) with a valid social worker endorsement.
Proof of degree in social work or a related field is required.
Experience working with high school students in a school setting
preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage
with students and staff. Ability to work onsite full-time; remote
work is not permitted. Location: Onsite at a high school in Des
