The role involves supporting current engagements, participating in evaluation, testing, selection, and deployment of network elements, ensuring solutions adhere to security standards and best practices, and staging network & security hardware.Requirements:

• 2-4 years of hands-on experience assisting managed service customers within SLAs, including installing, configuring, and troubleshooting security/network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers on Cisco devices.Specific skills include experience with:
  • Cisco ACI
  • Cisco ISE (802.1x, MAB, Guest, BYOD)
  • Palo Alto
  • Cisco Firepower Next-Generation firewalls
  • Cisco TrustSec
  • Cisco SD-Access
  • DNA Center
  • Cisco Firepower Management Center (FMC)
  • Cisco AnyConnect Security Mobility ClientMust have 2-4 years assisting with perimeter and data security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, VPNs, remote access, and monitoring tools, with familiarity in Cisco and/or Palo Alto security portfolios.Preferred expertise in:
    • Designing and implementing policy-based access control for next-generation firewalls
    • Designing and implementing VPNs (site-to-site, remote access)
    • Designing and implementing intrusion detection/prevention (SNORT rules)Additional requirements include solid experience with routing/switching protocols (EIGRP, BGP, HSRP, STP, LACP), IP addressing, and protocols (TCP/UDP); Cisco Nexus 5K, Fabric Extenders, NX-OS; Site-to-Site VPNs, Remote Access VPNs, DMVPN; Cisco ASA firewalls; Wireless LAN Controllers; WAN deployment and troubleshooting; TCP/IP, SNMP, NTP, AAA, TACACS, SSH, RADIUS, DNS, DHCP, LDAP protocols. Professional networking certifications (CCNA, CCNP, ACCP, or equivalent) are a plus.Key skills include problem solving, communication, adaptability, time management, attention to detail, customer service, troubleshooting, and debugging.
