Job Description Job Description Growing PI & Workers Compensation Law firm seeks PI Attorney to handle litigated cases. We are looking for an attorney who has a passion for helping people. The perfect candidate is someone who can hit the ground running to give the clients outstanding representation, as well as take ownership of a client's case. The perfect candidate must possess a willingness to meet personally with clients, the ability to handle a high caseload, commitment to abiding by the set laws and behaving ethically, excellent personal skills, strong critical thinking skills, adaptability and attention to detail, ability to work on a case independently, ability to work with a team of attorneys, ability to communicate and writing and verbally effectively. Compensation: $120,000 - $150,000 yearly Responsibilities: Research and brief legal issues, writing persuasive legal documents, and arguing legal cases before state and federal courts. Draft legal documents as necessary. Represent clients in court appearances, mediations, and other hearings. Advise clients on legal rights, obligations, and strategies related to their cases. Monitor changes in laws and regulations applicable to clients' matters and provide advice and counsel accordingly. Ability to work with others. Qualifications: Must be licensed in Illinois. 1-5 years of experience. Recent grads are Welcome.
